Origin of the Club Umbrella™

"I came up with the idea of The Club Umbrella while playing in a tournament called The Irish Open. I am a 12 handicap and I was 2 over after 15 holes (nerve racking!) playing the round of my life. It started to rain when we got off the 15th green and on our way to the tee box on 16. It was raining heavy and I saw everyone struggling trying to put their big cover on their bags or trying to jam their large umbrellas between the 2 bags in the power carts to keep their grips dry. The wind took a fee off and in the end, the result was that everyone's clubs were soacked by the time we got to 18th.

On the 17th, my driver came flying out of my hands and actually went further than my ball. Result, I quadrupled 17th and triple bogeyed 18th so I guess this is all the idea of The Club Umbrella came to me.
